Visitors go for the nature reserves, snorkeling, Maya ruins or to just relax on the white beaches (see Riviera Maya culture) Take highway 307 south along the shore There’s a thriving eco-tourism market on the Riviera Maya, many opportunities to swim with dolphins, cave diving or explore the mangrove swamps (see hotels in Riviera Maya).
