Capital of the mariachi and the tequila, two of the Mexican icons, Guadalajara is a showcase that summarizes the essence of Mexico. In the Degollado Theater, of elegant neoclassic architecture and luxurious interiors, take place more important the artistic and cultural events of the West of the country, but the cultural atmosphere extends towards the Seat of the Founders (located to its backs), where concerts and artistic activities are celebrated. A stroll in calandria, or in romantic or familiar plan; a typical food after a morning of unusual purchases in the boisterous Market Freedom, also call San Juan de God – birria, pozole, slight or, for the bold ones, the famous drowned cakes (those that know say that the best ones are those of Toño’s, in Avenue Tepeyac and the Roses) -, and a nocturnal serenade in the Seat of the Mariachis, is some enchantments of the traditional Guadalajara.
